DJ MARC BIOGRAPHY

Born Marc Smith, DJ Marc's odyssey through the world of music commenced with an innate affinity for rhythm. From his formative years drumming, tinkering with keyboards, to ultimately mastering the bass guitar, Marc's essence has always been intertwined with melodic cadence. 

Beyond his musical endeavors, Marc is a committed husband and a fervent Liverpool fan. However, his ardor for music transcends personal hobbies as he delves into the realms of production and artist management. Presently, Marc assumes the roles of booking agent and road manager for esteemed artists such as Prince Saj, Jimradical, Threwth, and Perry In Christ, serving also as their personal DJ. 

In 2020, Marc embraced the digital frontier, inaugurating his YouTube channel, "DJ Marc in the mix," where he orchestrates an amalgam of Gospel genres, ensnaring audiences with his vibrant selections. Subsequently, he garnered attention from Rvr 247 Online Radio station, assuming the helm of the program "DJ Marc in the mix," broadcasted every Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm (Ja time), resonating with listeners locally and abroad. 

Transitioning to Omega Klas Radio 89 fm, Marc undertook the mantle of resident Disc Jockey, hosting “The Praise the Lord Show” airing Fridays 5pm-8pm, amplifying his reach and impact. A testament to his prowess, Marc clinched a nomination for “DJ of the year” at the prestigious Sterling Gospel Awards, marking a significant milestone in his career. 

Marc's musical finesse has graced myriad Gospel events, weddings, and birthday celebrations, etching enduring memories with his entrancing performances. Notably, his crowning achievement unfolded at a gospel concert in Bronx, New York, where his sonic tapestries enraptured the audience. His mission is unequivocal yet profound: to disseminate joy and elevate spirits through his melodic tapestries.
